Bud and JJ almost have the contest ready to go! They have a great staff set up:

Debby Plyler is organizing the Saturday Night Banquet at "The Vineyard" on the airport with catering
by the university system!
Registration will be in the back room of Plyer's hangar and a tent for briefings will be located
in front of the hangar.
The tower at the airport will not be functioning yet for the contest, so Unicom will be as usual.

The "OFFICIAL HOTEL" for the 2008 Lone Star is the Comfort Suites Sherman
We have a block of rooms held at the Comfort Suites at $77 per night through May 14th. The rooms are listed under Lone Star Aerobatics Chapter 24. Rooms are available for Thursday June 5th through Saturday June 7th.
