Nationals Chapter Party Tent
A "chapter tent" will be set up near Plyer's Hangar during Nationals. We should be able to have the tent
donated and used as advertisement. Joe Stockhausen is researching this.
Refreshments and snacks will be available.
We're still looking for a catchy chapter logo for use on stickers, patches, shirts, newsletters.
Advanced Team Members Donation
We are proud to have two of our members on the US Advanced Aerobatic Team, Pat Clark and Craig Dobesh!
They will be competing at the Advanced World Aerobatic Championship (AWAC) August 1st-10th in
Pendleton, Oregon. The funds required to prepare for, compete and WIN this competition is extensive.
As a chapter we would like to help them as much as possible!
A donation was started for them at this meeting. Let's help them win by sending in donations to:
BJ Boyle, 2656 Newcastle Drive, Carrollton, TX 75007.

PRACTICE DAYS
We had our first practice day of 2008 last Saturday, 19 January.
Several braved the cold weather to fly at Grayson County!
A Very Big Thanks to Mike "Spanky" Gallaway for hanging out in the Cold Wind to critique those that flew!
Stay tuned for more practice days at Grayson and Akroville! If you're thinking about flying, please send an email
out for others to join even if it's short notice! We'll try to setup more practice days, work allowing!
Important Note: Several members would like to try and schedule at a minimum, one weekend a month as a
designated practice day. This would be a set day that everyone could plan on making. If you have suggestions
on a weekend that would work best for all, please submit the dates to:
Dave will coordinate the dates with several of our local judges, i.e. Mike Gallaway, Bill Denton, Bud Judy
and/or Julia and Tony Woods on location (Akroville or Grayson) and times.
We need to have at least one Judge/Critique on hand to help work out the kinks of sequences and maneuvers.
We need a weekend a month for February, March, April & May.
DUES REDUCTION to $25
It was decided to reduce the
yearly $25. Dues are due and should be
